Development of hunting tourism is a priority for the country
Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Yuri Nozadze held a meeting with the representatives of the Italian company "Montefeltro", which is engaged in the hunting tourism. At the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities to develop the hunting tourism in Georgia and highlighted important issues, namely, to create relevant legislative acts, develop hunting farms, restore small populations of animals and birds in the country.
"The development of a hunting tourism is a priority direction for our country, therefore, sharing international best practice is of utmost importance for us’’- said the Deputy Minister.
The Head of Environmental Supervision Department Irakli Mukniashvili, Head of Wildlife National Agency Revaz Bezhashvili and representatives of relevant departments attended the meeting held at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
