Chinese National Seedling Festival held in Tbilisi

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Yuri Nozadze attended the Chinese National Seedling Festival in Tbilisi. Under the frame of the event the greenery campaign was conducted, where the Deputy Minister took part along with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Ji  Yanchi.

Chinese Embassy intends to promote the commitment and concern for the state of the environment, however, one of the main priorities for our country is to improve ecological condition in Tbilisi, considering environmental care as part of human health and wellbeing -was noted by the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture at the event.

Chinese National Seedling Festival included a number of entertainment activities as well. 

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Yuri Nozadze and Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Georgia, Ji Yanchi provided volunteers engaged in the campaign with special certificates.

The festival was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of China and Multimedia Group, initiated by the Embassy of the People's Republic of China. The event was supported by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and Tbilisi City Hall.

The representatives of Tbilisi City Hall, Gldani District Administration, representatives of Chinese companies operating in Georgia and students from Georgia and China universities participated in the event.

The Seedling Festival has been held in Georgia for three years aiming to strengthen environmental care and on behalf of the Chinese people promote the greenery campaign in Georgia.Â
