Levan Davitashvili hosted the Director General of Czech company ‘’WATRAD’’
Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili met with the Director General of Water Dynamics Research and Determination "WATRAD" Michal Vanecek. The overall goal of the meeting was to investigate complex environmental problems in the city Chiatura.
"Water research is the most important component of research-based understanding of complex environmental problems. We will implement a new project together with the Czech side and National Environmental Agency, that means to conduct a systematic research in the city Chiatura, which is a part of our action plan "said Levan Davitashvili.
The project is funded by UNDP. A number of activities are envisaged to be implemented under the project, including, a complex research to investigate ecological problems, sharing knowledge and experience, providing recommendations etc.
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Nino Tandilashvili and Head of the National Environmental Agency Andro Aslanishvili attended the meeting held at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.
