As of July 8, the exports of peach and nectarine amounted to 3,426 tons

As of July 8, the exports of peach and nectarine amounted to 3,426 tons. Due to the climatic conditions, peach harvest started later this year, which resulted in a decline in export, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, when more than 5,544  tons of peaches were exported from Georgia.

All necessary export documents will be prepared and issued under the single window principle. Representatives of phytosanitary and customs services are engaged in this process.

To facilitate the sale of peach, the working group is also established at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, which actively works in the following fields: obtaining information, systemization,  connecting  farmers directly with buyers.
