Meeting with the Director of the Brussels Alcoholic Beverage Competition
The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Levan Davitashvili hosted the Director of Spirits Selection By Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Thierry Heins.
The sides discussed the prospect of holding the International Competition in Georgia in 2021. The participants noted, that large scale International Competition brings together representatives of 23 countries along with 96 international referees. The International Competition increases awareness of Georgia as a country producing outstanding wine and alcoholic beverages.
The International Competition for Alcoholic Beverages is held annually in different countries around the world and its main purpose is to discover new alcohol products and promote development of tourism.
Within the visit, Thierry Heins will visit wine and alcoholic beverage companies.
The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Khatia Tsilosani attended the meeting held at the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture.
