Representatives of Central and local authorities met with the residents of Tsalenjikha Municipality

The Representatives of the central and local authorities held meetings with the residents of the villages Jgala and Lia, Tsalenjikha municipality to receive information about their needs. The participants were focused on the most crucial issues and discussed ways how to deal and take them into next year's budget.

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture informed residents about programs and projects implemented by the Ministry, including activities  taken against the Asian stink bug.

The government team wishes residents to speak openly about their needs and afterwards to decide how to deal with them. We would like to learn more from the population what are the most important issues in a certain village. The central and local authorities are engaged in the process which will undoubtedly bring positive results "said Solomon Pavliashvili.

The Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Solomon Pavliashvili was accompanied by the Deputy Governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Malkhaz Toria,  Besik Fartsvania, Mayor of Tsalenjikha municipality and Tsalenjikha and Chkhorotsku majoritarian MP Goga Gulordava.

At the meeting, the representatives of the local authorities have been focused on the projects implemented in Tsalenjikha municipality and drew their attention to the efficiency of the rural development program and engagement of citizens to make a free choice which projects to implement in the future.

" We will conduct meetings throughout the summer to have a direct and effective communication with the population living in different municipalities. Moreover, these meetings will lead us to be directly aware of their needs and problems and have an immediate response to their complaints "said Malkhaz Toria, deputy state attorney. 

The residents of  Jgali and Obuji villages named the needs for water and internal roads as the main problems in the region.
