Under the frame of the ENPARD, agricultural equipment were delivered to farmers in Tetritskaro municipality

Under the ENPARD , the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture,  Khatia Tsilosani accompanied by regional Governor, Shota Rekhviashvili along with the representatives of the European Union and international donor community  got acquainted with the rural development projects implemented within the  Association ‘’Regional/Rural Development for Future Georgia (RDFGA) in Tetritskaro municipality.

Under the frame of the EU funded project " Sustainable Rural Development in Tetritskaro Municipality",  Khatia Tsilosani took part in the agricultural equipment delivery process. 

"The increase access to agricultural equipment is an important precondition for agricultural and rural development. Within the framework of the European Union program ENPARD, the  Association ‘’Regional/Rural Development for Future Georgia (RDFG) together with the Local Action Group (LAG ) of Tetritskaro municipality has successfully implemented two phases of the grant program .

Moreover,  65 projects were financed within the Rural Development Program, which totally amounted to 5 million GEL. More than 300 jobs have been created in Tetritskaro municipality, where 40% of the employees are women " said the Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.

The EU-funded project "Sustainable Rural Development in Tetritskaro Municipality" is being implemented by EU Partner Association "Regional Development for Future Georgia" (RDFG). The project aims at improvement of quality of life in Tetritskaro municipality, which will be achieved through introduction of the innovative socio-economic models and involving civil, private and public sector representatives in decision-making processes. For this purpose, the RDFG cooperates with the Association Agro technology Association (ATA) and RDFG's European partner Lithuanian Local Action Groups Network (VVGT).
