The hunting season will be opened on the fourth Saturday of August 2019
The Ministry made the decision to open the hunting season on the basis of the survey and pre-consultation meeting held with hunters, the opinions expressed by the participants and recommendations provided by the representatives of the scientific and expert circles, aiming the protection and reproduction of migratory birds.
Those who wish to hunt for birds must carry a receipt fee (original) amounting (10 gel) and the corresponding document on carrying and possession of a hunting rifled firearm issued by the relevant body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

Any interested person might see an Announcement: the hunting season will be opened on the fourth Saturday of August 2019, which includes a list of recommended items: prohibited hunting methods and species of migratory birds allowed to hunt, hunting dates and daily limits according to hunting area, as well as a fee explanation.
