Developing Capability of the Waste Processing Facility to Treat Radioactive Waste, Including Liquid Radioactive Waste
The radioactive waste processing simple facility was established within the IAEA project GEO/9011. The facility was designated to treat mainly solid waste by abrasive method. At the same time some necessity was appeared to conduct treatment with liquid waste, which were fixed at the closed disposal and can be generated during the reactor decommissioning activity. The given project considers strengthening capabilities of waste processing facility to teat with liquid radioactive waste. At the same time the capability to treat solid radioactive waste also should be increased.
