 Program for supporting hazelnut production


The purpose of hazelnut production supporting program is to support primary production of hazelnut in Georgia by the way of stimulation of hazelnut orchard owners or/and proprietors.

 
The goal of the program is to support primary production of hazelnut in Georgia by the way of subsidizing the good necessary for care and production of hazelnut.  

Within the framework of the program, a subsidy is given for the purchase of pesticides and agrochemicals necessary for the maintenance and cultivation of hazelnuts. To receive the subsidy, beneficiary must be the owner or/and user or/and factual user of hazelnut orchard(s) with total area from 0.2ha to 3 ha, the amount of the subsidy through calculation per 1 ha land shall be defined at 500 GEL.

The program is implemented in all municipalities of Georgia except the self-governing cities.
