Program of co-financing of energy-efficient stoves

The program of co-financing of energy-efficient stoves is carried out within the framework of the project "Promoting the implementation of the reform of the forestry sector in Georgia to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases caused by forest degradation".

The purpose of the Program is to stimulate the demand of the population in order to purchase the energy-efficient stoves.  The target of the program is to protect the rural environment, sustainable use of natural resources and support of climate change mitigation measures for regional population (households) through co-financing the purchase of energy-efficient stoves. 

The program includes two components:

Individuals, interested to purchase energy-efficient stoves are afforded the possibility to receive co-financing within the frameworks of the component. 

Co-financing / reimbursement of the cost of determination of compliance of energy-efficient stoves with specified criteria (parameters) 

In order to determine the compliance of produced energy-efficient stove with program criteria (parameters), its manufacturer (entrepreneur natural or legal individual) should submit the document issued by laboratory on determination of compliance of energy-efficient stove with specified criteria (parameters).
