Agreement of the second phase of the European Neighborhood Program for Rural Develop­ment (ENPARD II) was signed In 2016, which envisages investing of additional 50 million euros for financing rural development initiatives. The main goals of this program are enhanced competitiveness and sustainability of the agriculture sector and improved employment and living conditions in the rural areas through the diversification of the rural economy. Fulfilment of obligations – rural development, taken by Association Agreement with EU will result in increase of value added created in rural areas, development of infrastructure and by activities and increase of income of rural population.
