Otar Shamugia meets the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Georgia, Imamura Akira.

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Mr.  Otar Shamugia, hosted the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Georgia, Mr. Imamura Akira, who completed his mission in Georgia.

 

The Minister thanked the Ambassador for his outstanding contribution to enhancing bilateral relations and wished him success in his future endeavors.
During the meeting, the sides underlined the importance of close partnership relations between the two countries in the climate change, agriculture, and waste management fields.

 

Mr. Imamura Akira emphasized that Georgia is a reliable partner for Japan, which has laid a strong foundation for further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The representatives of the relevant services of the Ministry attended the meeting.Â
