Contract Title: Kvemo Samgori On-Farm Network Rehabilitation, sections G33, G 33-1

Georgia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Irrigation and Land Market Development Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Kvemo Samgori On-Farm Network Rehabilitation, sections G33, G33-1.

The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia (the Employer) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Kvemo Samgori On-Farm Network Rehabilitation, sections G33, G33-1. Construction period is 18 months. The Site is located in Sagarejo Municipality of Kakheti region, approximately 70 km from Tbilisi. The project serves 3175 ha irrigation area.
The works include the construction of on-farm network with steel and polyethylene pipelines with a total length of approx. 56 km, arrangement of hydrants, pressure regulators, air valves as well as backfill, reinforcement and concrete works.

Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011, revised July 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

Interested bidder may also obtain full package of the bidding document and further amendments, clarifications etc. directly from the Employer upon expression of interest via email given below.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 26, 2020, 15:00 (local time). Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of interested bidders and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on October 26, 2020, 15:00 (local time).
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration.
